Hi, My name is Regina Du and i save lives.

i was at the "korean mall," (you know, the one on western and olympic) waiting for my cousin to get off work.

i see these two brothers (about 6 and 3 years old) playing near the fountain.  The toddler reaches out to touch the water...and falls in.

i thought the water was shallow so i expected him to get up and walk out. But he didnt! So i rushed over and fished the little sucker out...who was fully submerged under water and wiggling around.

the poor baby had crapped his pants because he was in shock. When his mom finally came back from shopping, she just yelled at them for playing near the fountain. Some people should not be allowed to have children. And some people, (ahem) should get business cards made that say: Professional Life Saver.

it's been a really stressful week. 

im really tired of the LAPD (no offense to the great officers like officer ming)

and im tired of uninvited crap happening when i have finals!

i just wanted to say that im really thankful for everyone's support and prayers. im such a lucky gal.

2 more finals, then off to hawaii to visit mama!

it's ash wednesday, folks. You know what that means - no sweets for moi.

what have i been up to? o not much:

All i do is wake up, go to school, study, and sleep. OVERANDOVERANDOVERANDOVER.

I MISS TRAVELING! I MISS MY FRIENDS! I MISS JAPAN!

Anyway, enough complaining. An update in the life of du.

1) My mom is going to Hawaii tomorrow - she wants to move there so she's gonna go look for a place to live. Isnt that crazy? Who wants to visit?!

2) Because of #1, if my mom DOES move to hawaii, that means I'll get a car! Yes. at the ripe ol age of 24, I will finally have a car.

3) I got a job! - this summer, ill be working in the legal department of the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center. I'm sooooo excited because I really wanted to work there and I cant believe I actually got the job!

4) FREE is still alive! (the goldfish i left behind in Japan) I never thought a free fish won at a carnival would live so long. Long live Free!

5) HERSHEY has a new candy out called Kissables. Theyre candy-coated mini kisses and very very scrumptious. (not really about my life but i felt that it was too important to leave out)
